The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Turf Team Leader to join our Grounds Maintenance team in LOCATION.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of turf maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of client sites. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with strong turf management knowledge who enjoys mentoring staff while maintaining exceptional presentation standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and supervising a team of turf professionals
- Planning and scheduling daily maintenance activities
- Maintaining high-quality turf surfaces to industry best practice standards
- Operating and overseeing commercial turf maintenance equipment
- Irrigation monitoring, adjustment and basic repairs




- Identifying and managing turf health issues including weeds, pests and diseases
- Monitoring fertiliser and turf improvement programs
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to client expectations
- Building positive relationships with customers, clients and stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on completed works

About You

You are an experienced turf professional with solid leadership skills and a passion for producing high-quality turf outcomes.

To be successful you will have:

- Certificate III or IV in Sports Turf Management, Turf Management or Horticulture (preferred)
- Proven experience leading a Turf/Hort maintenance team
- Strong knowledge of turf renovation, nutrition, irrigation, weed, pest and disease management
- Experience maintaining sports fields, schools, parks, golf courses and commercial turf facilities
- Experience operating commercial mowing and turf maintenance equipment
- Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills
- A strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
- White Card
- MR licence and chemical accreditation (highly regarded)
