An opportunity has arisen for a Building Inspector to join the team in Townsville, working primarily across residential projects.
This is a site-based role, ideal for a Supervisor or Builder looking to step into a more structured, long-term career while still being hands-on and out on site
The role will involve:
- Conducting on-site residential building inspections
- Ensuring compliance with the NCC and relevant legislation
- Working closely with builders and contractors
- Identifying defects and providing practical solutions
- Supporting the certification process through inspection stages
ABOUT YOU
- Background as a Builder or Supervisor (essential)
- Strong experience across residential construction projects
- Solid understanding of construction methods and site practices
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with site teams
- Organised and detail-oriented
