We're looking for a Financial Controller to lead our finance function and help drive the financial success of the firm. This is a key role where you'll work closely with our CEO, accountant, leadership team, and finance team to ensure our financial operations run smoothly, our reporting is insightful, and our people have the information they need to make outstanding decisions.

What you'll be doing

- Leading the day-to-day financial operations of the firm.

- Developing and managing our Finance Business Plan and annual budget.

- Producing timely and meaningful weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.

- Monitoring financial performance and providing commercial insights and recommendations.

- Preparing and presenting quarterly reports to the CEO and leadership team on performance against budget and business plan.

- Ensuring payroll, superannuation, BAS, tax and other statutory obligations are met accurately and on time.

- Building strong relationships with our people, accountants, auditors, bankers and other stakeholders.

- Driving continuous improvement across systems, reporting and financial processes.

- Managing and supporting a finance team that operates with positivity, honesty and integrity.

- Championing the FGD Way by always taking a people and client-first approach.
