Role Description This full time, in office Glazing Manager role is based in Cairns, QLD and is responsible for overseeing all glazing operations, from planning to installation.
The Glazing Manager coordinates project schedules, allocates resources, and supervises glazing teams to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This role manages quality control on all glass and glazing work, liaises with clients, contractors, and suppliers, and resolves technical or site issues as they arise.
The Glazing Manager also oversees inventory of materials and tools, enforces workplace health and safety standards, and prepares reports on project progress and performance.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in glazing operations, including installation, repair, and maintenance of glass and related systems.Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate crews and mentor junior staff.Robust project management capabilities,



including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.Solid understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and best practices in construction or glazing environments.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building codes relevant to glazing projects.Proficiency with basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, project tracking software) for documentation and reporting.Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in glazing, construction, or a related field; supervisory or management training is an advantage.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites in the Cairns region as required.
