About the role
Oryx is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurses at our brand new home The Melvista in Nedlands.
Employment Term
: Permanent Part time who is available to work on Friday both week (3pm-10:15pm) and week 2 Saturday ( 3pm-10:15pm)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the care team in the delivery of care and services, ensuring a consistent high standard.
Work autonomously and as a part of a team.
Contribute to the development and implementation of resident focussed care and support plans.
Provide specialised nursing care, wound care and emotional support to residents.
Ability to manage time and prioritise changing workloads.
Provide oversight and mentoring to care staff.
Complete documentation requirements in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Oryx Communities' policy and procedures.

Requirements for the Role
Current Nursing (Div1) AHPRA registration
Understanding of quality care and customer service to residents and their families
Have undertaken or willingness to undertake COVID -19 Infection Control & PPE Training, Hand Hygiene training and Food Safety Training
Computer literacy and a willingness to learn current technology
Understanding of ACFI/ AN-ACC and Aged Care Standards requirements
Excellent communication and leadership skills to successfully lead a team.
Current influenza vaccination and full COVID vaccination essential
