An experienced Site Manager is required to oversee the successful delivery of commercial interior construction projects from mobilisation through to completion.
This role is responsible for managing all on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to a high-quality standard.
You will act as the key on-site leader, ensuring alignment between delivery teams, supply chain partners, and project stakeholders, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, programme performance, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and understand subcontractor scopes, contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Lead day-to-day site operations to ensure efficient project delivery
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors to achieve programme, quality, and safety objectives
- Maintain transparent communication with project stakeholders, including clients and site representatives
- Monitor site progress and ensure alignment with agreed programmes and milestones
- Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
- Oversee site setup, logistics, cleanliness, and overall site organisation
- Conduct quality control checks and manage snagging/punch list completion
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and document control processes
- Identify, escalate, and manage site risks in line with governance procedures
- Support resolution of on-site issues in a timely and proactive manner
- Ensure smooth project close-out and handover activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and responsible business practices
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or interior fit-out environments
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methods, and buildability principles
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and on-site delivery teams
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to respond quickly to site challenges
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- Competence in project management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to specification
