Development Contributions Coordinator – Fixed-Term (5 years)

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of our region? We're excited to offer a 5-year fixed-term position within our Land Use Planning team for a Development Contributions Coordinator. This position supports the delivery of infrastructure that meets community needs by overseeing the development, implementation, and management of contribution plans.

Responsibilities

- Develop and review contribution plans that align with Council's strategic goals and plans.
- Provide financial oversight, monitor the collection and expenditure of contributions.
- Ensure reporting and legislative compliance.

Qualifications

- Qualifications in project management, commerce, asset accounting, or a related field (or equivalent local government experience).
- Detail‑oriented with strong financial, administrative, and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex legislative requirements.

Salary

Salary: $113,094.76 – $125,818.08 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience).

Location

Location: The position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya, 2 Biripi Way, Taree.



You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure

Tenure: 5 year fixed‑term, full‑time 35 hours per week.
