We're seeking an experienced
HSE Advisor
to support the safe delivery of construction and water infrastructure projects across sites located south of the river.

About the Role Reporting to the HSE Manager, you'll work closely with project teams to promote a strong safety culture, ensure legislative compliance, and provide practical HSE support across multiple construction and water infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day HSE advice and support to project managers, supervisors, and site teams.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and workplace observations.
Lead incident investigations and identify corrective and preventive actions.
Facilitate risk assessments, SWMS reviews, and pre-start meetings.
Support environmental and quality compliance where required.
Monitor contractor compliance with HSE requirements.
Deliver toolbox talks and safety training.
Assist with reporting, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with relevant WHS legislation and client requirements.
About You




Demonstrated experience as an HSE Advisor within the construction industry.
Experience working on water or civil infrastructure projects is highly regarded.
Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles.
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum); Diploma or higher is advantageous.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to build positive relationships with operational teams.
Current Australian driver's licence.
4 years experience in a similar field
