We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
BAS Administrator
to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission. You will work closely with clients to obtain the necessary financial information, reconcile accounts (where appropriate), identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
· Review and reconcile financial records to ensure accuracy.
· Communicate with clients to obtain required documentation and clarify information.
· Ensure compliance with current Australian taxation legislation and ATO requirements.
· Maintain accurate client records and meet lodgement deadlines.
· Assist with Client Services as part of a small team.
· Assist with general bookkeeping and related administrative tasks where required.




About You
· Experience preparing and lodging BAS is desired but not necessary.
· Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero or MYOB.
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles is an advantage.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Valuable organisational and time management skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· A professional, reliable, and client-focused approach.
