Key Responsibilities
Heavy Grinding:
A significant portion of this role involves high-volume grinding, smoothing, and prepping steel products.
Assisting qualified tradespeople with fabrication and manufacturing tasks.
Operating hand and power tools safely.
General workshop maintenance and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Full Australian Work Rights:
You must have permanent residency or citizenship.
(Please note:
No sponsorship or visa holders will be considered
for this position).




Comfortable with high-volume, repetitive
grinding work
and heavy physical labor.
Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a
drug and alcohol screen
.
A valid Construction White Card (preferred).
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
Reliable transport to get to Naval Base for early shifts.

Attractive Pay Rates:
Start at
$*/hr
for the first 3 months, increasing to
$*/hr
plus applicable penalties.
