Our client is a well-established and growing West Australian resources organisation seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its corporate team based in Perth.
Description
Support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, accounting, and compliance activities.
Manage month-end and year-end accounting processes, ensuring the integrity of financial data and reporting outputs.
Maintain strong financial controls and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
Assist with taxation, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Partner with internal stakeholders across corporate and site-based teams to resolve financial and operational issues.
Support the administration and optimisation of financial systems and master data to ensure efficient business operations.
Assist with contract administration, governance, and financial risk management activities.




Monitor developments in accounting standards and legislation, ensuring the organisation remains compliant with relevant requirements.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
A relevant degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CA or CPA qualification (or working towards one).
Pronto ERP system experience.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
Solid communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
