Operations Manager – Pavements
to join a leading civil contractor in Darwin, Northern Territory.
This role involves managing four business units with a total turnover of $60 million and will make a big impact.
Main Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership across all four pavement business units.
Mentor and support direct reports to lift leadership capability and team performance.
Oversee protected, timely, and high-quality service delivery across diverse operational teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and accountability across the business.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
15+ years in senior operations or management roles within civil or pavement works.
Proven leadership with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Robust financial skills: budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.




Effective multitasker in fast-paced, high-volume settings.
Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management.
