Duties:
•Lead and oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
•Develop and implement production schedules, operational plans and manufacturing procedures to meet business objectives.
•Supervise, mentor and manage production staff, including allocating duties, monitoring performance and providing ongoing guidance.
•Monitor production costs, resource utilisation and operational efficiency, implementing strategies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
•Coordinate with procurement,



warehouse and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and production resources.
•Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with workplace health and safety legislation, quality assurance standards and company policies.
•Review production data and prepare operational reports, analysing performance and recommending improvements where required.
•Oversee the maintenance, servicing and productive operation of manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime.
•Work closely with senior management and other department managers to coordinate production priorities and business requirements.
•Identify, evaluate and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, quality and operational performance.
•Assist with the planning, acquisition and installation of current machinery, equipment and production technologies.
•Monitor inventory levels of production materials and coordinate stock requirements to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
