Experience in high rise residential or commercial is ideal.Our client is an established leader in the development and construction industry and who are known for their high-quality practices.
They are now seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their professional team in Sydney.With a project portfolio that includes residential, mixed use, office, retail and industrial sectors, you will be responsible for financial management for the projects and will ensure the delivery of the project meets or exceeds the project cost budgets.
You will also provide financial and administrative guidance to the project team.Reporting to: Senior Contracts Administrator and the Contracts ManagerResponsibilities include but not limited to:Managing all facets of the subcontract processNegotiate and review subcontract tenders including preparation of tender comparison for reviewPrepare, check and review subcontract packages, scopes,
lettings and procurement schedulesMonitor subcontractors to ensure they are adhering to environmental commitments and responsibilitiesPreparation of accurate payment schedulesUnderstand and manage subcontractor contractual riskProcess progress claims, delay claims and external variations according to contractual obligationsPreparation of project budgets for review and provide accurate rolling final account forecastsAssist in the preparation and administration of project completion and inspection test plansSupport the Projects team when requiredQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary Qualifications in a Project Management, Construction Management or similarMinimum 3 to 7+ years' experience in similar rolePrevious Financial or Accounting experience is idealSuperior analytical skills and attention to detailKnowledge of project administration and project controlsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated negotiation, stakeholder management and influencing skillsThis is a great opportunity to work with an established organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
