Our client, Cornerstone Migration Australia, is a specialist migration law practice seeking an experienced Migration Agent or Lawyer to join its team on a permanent basis.
This role offers the chance to work within a regulated legal setting, advising clients on complex migration matters and managing cases through to resolution.
The successful candidate will bring either MARA registration or legal qualifications with demonstrated migration law experience, and will contribute to the firm's reputation for thorough, client-focused advice.Advise clients on migration law matters, including visa applications, compliance, and strategic planningManage a portfolio of cases with autonomy and accountability in a regulated legal environmentPermanent position with scope to develop expertise and build client relationships within a specialist practicePreferred RequirementsCurrent MARA registration as a migration agent,
or admission as a lawyer with migration law experienceDemonstrated experience advising on Australian migration law and visa categoriesStrong client communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearlyProficiency with case management systems and legal documentation standardsSound understanding of compliance obligations and skilled conduct requirements in migration lawPreferred QualificationsMARA registration, or admission to practise as a lawyer in Australia with current practising certificateFormal qualification in migration law or post-graduate study in immigration and citizenship lawProfessional indemnity insurance or eligibility to obtain it
