We are seeking a talented Tester to join our clients agile ICT team in Sydney CBD.
In this role, you will coordinate and execute comprehensive testing across a portfolio of high-impact business transformation initiatives.
You'll work across both front-end and back-end systems to ensure enterprise solutions are robust, compliant, and delivered on schedule.This is initially a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, with a view to convert to a permanent role.What You'll Be DoingEnd-to-End Test Execution: Execute test cases across Front-end and Back-end systems across all environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) and document bugs/results clearly.Automation Testing: Support and drive UI and API automation testing using tools like Cypress (with Cucumber/Gherkin) and Postman.Planning & Prep: Review project requirements to build solid test plans, scripts, test data, and testing environments.Collaboration & Triage: Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to clarify requirements and lead defect triage sessions.Continuous Improvement:



Help refine QA standards, defect tracking workflows, and testing processes across the organisation.What We're Looking ForExperience: 5+ years of software testing / quality assurance experience across complex environments.Automation Tools: Proven hands-on experience with Cypress (using Cucumber/Gherkin) and Postman for API testing.Tooling: Proficient with test management, defect tracking, and the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence).
Analytical Mindset: Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and explicit communication abilities.Education & Certifications: Tertiary degree in IT (or equivalent experience).
ISTQB certification is highly regarded.Regulated/Program Experience: Experience working across interdependent projects within a highly regulated workplace is advantageous.Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC)
