to take ownership of our dispatch function, ensuring customer orders are picked, loaded, and dispatched accurately and on time.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate daily dispatch operations, support the warehouse team, and work closely with production and transport to keep goods moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the dispatch team to ensure daily targets are achieved.
Coordinate the timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders.
Allocate workloads and assist with day-to-day operational priorities.
Maintain inventory accuracy and complete dispatch documentation.
Liaise with production, warehouse, and transport providers to ensure smooth operations.
Resolve dispatch issues and adapt quickly to changing priorities and schedules.
Promote a protected, clean, and efficient working environment.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, warehouse,



or transport operations.
Demonstrated leadership or Leading Hand experience.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
The ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure.
Effective communication skills and the confidence to lead a team.
A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
Desirable Skills
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software.
High Risk Forklift Licence (LF).
Knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
Understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
About You
Minimum of 2 years' experience in dispatch, warehousing, or logistics.
Previous experience in a Leading Hand, Team Leader, or Supervisory role is highly regarded.
Relevant qualifications in logistics, warehousing, or transport are advantageous but not essential.
Versatile, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
