The Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at our Skin Repair Skin Cancer Clinic on a casual basis.
We are looking for availability for a few days a week, approximately * hours per week, possibly more with support for covering sick leave or annual leave. Our clinics opening hours are Monday - Friday: 8.45am - 5.00pm
As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a key role in assisting in the smooth day-to-day operations of our clinic, you will be responsible for:
Warmly greeting and assisting patients
Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
Accurate data entry of patient information
Processing payments
Managing phone and email queries
Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
General administration duties as required
Qualifications & Attributes




Previous experience in an administrative/reception role within the Healthcare industry or similar is essential
Previous experience with medical practice software, such as Best Practice will be highly regarded
Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
Approachable, reliable and dependable
Excellent communication skills, skilled presentation and positive can-do attitude
Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
Authorised to work in Australia
