The Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician will help us provide the highest quality of care possible. The ideal candidate will be board certified in nuclear medicine and have experience working with a variety of patients. The Consultant will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, interpreting images, and providing consultation to referring physicians. The nuclear medicine physician will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing compassionate care.
In addition, physician will also be responsible for inpatient management of patients under the General Medicine team as well as participate in on call physician roster. The job will be split general medicine and nuclear medicine responsibilities.

To be considered you must be willing to participate in the on call roster, undertaking an on-call period as agreed. You will also need to be eligible for Fellowship with the Australian and Recent Zealand College of Anaesthetists and registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Hospital: This is a specialist referral and trauma centre, a purpose built teaching Hospital catering for a population of more than 250,00.The medical services offered at the Hospital are elective surgery, emergency care, aged care, obstetrics, mental health, pharmacy, rehabilitation and medical and radiation oncology.It has 4 operating theatres and specialises in general surgery, orthopaedic, gynaecology and obstetrics as well as ear, nose and throat surgery and urologyAs a teaching hospital it is affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health and Federation University and provide placements and clinical experience for students.
