Scarcella Transport have been operating express road train services into Darwin for the past 30 years. Our depot is based in Wingfield, Adelaide and our Darwin depot is based in Yarrawonga.
Our Darwin depot has air conditioned, individual motel style sleeping quarters with cooking quarters, washing facilities and amenities.
You will be part of a 2up express driving team, leaving Adelaide either Tuesday or Saturday mornings for Darwin. You will be travelling via Alice springs.
Once in Darwin, you will be required to either drop the trailers at our depot or to the various customers around Darwin (NO UNLOADING).
Returning from Darwin, your trailers will either be loaded for you or you will be required to travel to one of our customers and load produce (depending on the season)
You will have the same truck and the same partner every week, departures are as follows which involves a 4 day working week/trip
Depart Tuesday morning and arrive back in Adelaide Friday Night / Saturday morning.




Depart Saturday morning and arrive back in Adelaide Tuesday night / Wednesday morning.
For accreditation purposes we will require:
MC drivers license and familiar with a road ranger g/box.
BFM (basic fatigue management) Training
All prime movers are brand current model T909 Kenworth's with 50inch sleepers, 240 inverters, microwave, double bunks. Excellent remuneration where you are paid for everything you do PLUS Super. Trucks and trailers are washed and serviced every week for the drivers.
