About the role
DT and S Contracting' is seeking experienced Skilled Plant operators to join our team on an ongoing casual basis. . This is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry-leading construction and contracting company working within the green energy sector. The successful candidates will play a key role in executing essential construction activities on site.
What you'll be doing
Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, skidsteer loaders, and medium rigid trucks.
Performing skilled labour tasks such as operating hand and power tools, reading plans and specifications, and assisting with the construction and installation of various structures
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for




Proven experience as a Skilled machine operator with a solid understanding of construction techniques and methods in the civil construction field
Proficient in the safe operation of hand and power tools, as well as excavation equipment
Excellent physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual tasks
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Relevant industry certifications or licences would be highly regarded
Must be able to pass regular and random drug and alcohol testing
