About the Job
Rhapsody Grocer Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated full time Retail Manager to oversee daily store operations and drive the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing inventory, leading staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the store's commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Optimize product mix and inventory levels for both local and imported convenience products to maintain availability and maximize profitability.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost sales and attract current customers.




• Ensure high standards of customer service by training staff and effectively handling customer inquiries and complaints.
• Oversee daily store operations, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast demand, and ensure financial record accuracy.
• Implement and manage quality control measures for all products, particularly perishable items.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Plan and execute promotional events and in-store displays to highlight the store's product offerings and drive customer engagement.
Skills and Qualifications
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma-level qualification.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a retail management role.
• Robust organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively manage inventory, budgets, and sales performance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
