Forklift Operator Our client is looking for a reliable and eager forklift operator to join their team in Forrestfield.
This role is rotating weekly rosters between day and afternoon shifts, with temp to permanent opportunities available!
Key Responsibilities
Unload sea containers from rail wagons as trains arriveLoad and unload steel coils from trucks using a counterbalance forkliftRemove foam blocks from containers by hand that secure steel coilsWork both indoors and outdoorsOpportunity to receive training in Gantry Crane operations (for suitable candidates)
Requirements
Current LF Forklift Licence (experience preferred, but applicants with limited experience and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply)Positive attitude with a willingness to learnPhysically fit and capable of manual handlingGantry Crane ticket is highly regarded but not essential
Shift Details
Weekly rotating roster:Day Shift: 5:45am - 2:00pmAfternoon Shift:
1:45pm - 10:00pmMust be available to work both shiftsOvertime and weekend work available for those interested
