About the role
As ourTax Accountant, you'll work directly with business owners and high-value clients across both compliance and advisory services.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
preparing financial statements and tax returns across all entity types
delivering proactive tax planning and advisory recommendations
assisting clients with structuring, cashflow and growth planning
managing client relationships as a trusted advisor
identifying opportunities to add value for clients
reviewing junior staff work and providing mentoring
participating in client meetings and strategic planning.
What we're looking for
Full Australian working rightsessential
Min. 3 yearsAustralian public practice accounting experienceessential
CA or CPA qualification (or currently completing)highly regarded
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance
Confidence managing client relationships with excellent communication skills
Xero and cloud accounting platform experiencehighly regarded
Business advisory or wealth creation background
This role would suit a commercially minded accountant who wants to move beyond compliance and become a trusted advisor to business owners.
