SAFETY COORDINATOR Newcastle & Hunter Region | Commercial Construction
Are you a safety qualified who enjoys keeping projects compliant, maintaining high standards and working as part of a team that respects safety.Our client is a well-established commercial builder delivering projects throughout Newcastle/Hunter region.
With a solid pipeline of work secured, they are looking to add a Safety Coordinator to there team.This role offers a blend of office and site-based responsibilities and would suit someone who enjoys both the administration and compliance side of safety while also building relationships with project teams on-site.
The RoleWorking alongside experienced construction and safety specialists, you will support multiple commercial projects across the Newcastle and Hunter region.
You will play a key role in maintaining safety systems, contractor compliance, project documentation and audit readiness while providing hands-on support to site teams.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain safety documentation, registers and compliance recordsSupport internal and external auditsCoordinate contractor onboarding and compliance requirementsAssist with toolbox talks,



inductions and safety initiativesMonitor corrective actions and close-out processesSupport incident reporting and investigationsWork closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractorsConduct regular site visits across NewcastleAssist in maintaining WHS management systems and procedures
About YouYou may currently be working as a:Safety CoordinatorSafety AdvisorJunior Safety Advisor
