We're seeking a reliable, safety‐conscious Second Class Welder (Sheet Fabricator) to join our production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to work on a variety of projects delivering high quality work to multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks on Mild Steel, Aluminum and Stainless Steel.
Assist with fabrication, fit-up, and assembly of both one off projects and jobbing tasks
Read, interpret and manufacture to engineering drawings in both Metric and Imperial units
Complete work orders and accurately log time against tasks
Liaise with team leaders to order and manage tooling requirements
Maintain a secure, clean and organised work area and follow all safety procedures
Be available for overtime as required
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
Trade Certificate:Fabrication Trade (Welding) or Relevant Experience
Demonstrated experience MIG/TIG welding
Press break, guillotine operation
CNC Operating Experience an advantage (Occasionally changing jobbing parts)
Ability to read and manufacture to engineering drawings (Metric & Imperial)
