Overview
The Practice Nurse will work as a part of a cooperative multidisciplinary team working towards improving health outcomes for the local Aboriginal community and other service users.
The Practice Nurse is responsible for providing supportive clinical care within primary healthcare with a key focus for health promotion and prevention.
The role is based at both Halls Gap and Ararat, with regular travel between both sites as required by service needs.
About you
You are a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
You will have demonstrated experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities; an ability to communicate and build connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities; and demonstrated experience in primary heath care, preventative health, or chronic disease management.
