TESS Search Partners is proud to partner with Hames Sharley to appoint a Junior Accountant to join its growing finance team in Adelaide. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to develop their career within one of Australia's leading architecture and design practices. You'll gain broad exposure across financial reporting, payroll, project accounting, accounts payable and receivable, while working alongside an experienced finance team committed to your ongoing development.
This role offers genuine variety and will see you supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a national business. Responsibilities include assisting with month-end reporting, reconciliations, payroll processing, project financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, debt collection, cash flow management and intercompany transactions. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping streamline finance processes and supporting accurate reporting for business leaders across the organisation.
We're seeking a degree-qualified accounting skilled with approximately one to two years' experience,



or relevant internship experience, who is looking to build a long-term career in finance. You'll have robust attention to detail, excellent communication skills and experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero or similar, together with sound Excel skills. An eagerness to learn, a collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement will see you thrive in this role.
