Your Role:
As a CNC Router Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC routing equipment to produce quality components for a wide range of projects.
You will also assist with sanding, finishing, and preparing products for the next stage of production while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC router machinery safely and efficiently.
Set up and load materials into the router.
Sand and finish routed components to a high standard.
Read and interpret job sheets and production drawings.
Carry out quality inspections on completed work.
Keep your work area clean, organised, and safe.
Work closely with other departments to meet production deadlines.
Willingness to work occasional afternoon shifts.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience operating a CNC router.
Experience with sanding and finishing components.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Valuable time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Desirable Qualifications:
Current Forklift Licence (highly regarded).
Experience within manufacturing, cabinetry, signage, or similar industries.
