We are ideally seeking someone with a larger breed dog, such as a Labrador or similar, who enjoys meeting recent people and is calm, gentle and confident in different environments.
About the role:
Visit residents on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
Spend approximately two hours chatting, walking through the home and visiting residents in communal areas or their rooms.
Help create meaningful moments through the straightforward joy of spending time with a friendly dog.
Pet therapy visits can spark memories, encourage conversation, reduce feelings of loneliness and bring genuine happiness to residents.
Your time, and your dog's companionship, can make a lasting difference.
