Servicing the training needs of the Mining, Civil Construction and Transport industries RMS Training (Richards Mining Services Pty Ltd) is a privately owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which commenced operation in .
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Quality Coordinator to assist with the maintenance of compliance requirements in accordance with the Australian Quality Skills Authority (ASQA).
Based in Joondalup you would be joining a family orientated team, participate in regular scheduled team building social activities and work in a comfortable air conditioned office.
The preferred applicant will have proven experience working in an RTO with a thorough understanding of ASQA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and schedule compliance and quality assurance processes inclusive of internal audits, validation and moderation
Maintain Trainer matrix and trainer qualification requirements
Assist with addition to scope applications where needed
Monitor compliance and review quality assurance processes with existing auspicing agreements
Maximise the functionality of the Student Management System (Axcelerate) in regards to management of compliance records
Review, implement, monitor and record continuous improvement actions




Review and audit training documentation against required compliance requirements
Oversee and lead the RTO admin team
Assist with policy and procedural requirements and continuous improvement
Oversee and facilitate compliance reporting as required by the standards
Essential Skills and qualifications:
Ability to work autonomously
An understanding of the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Outcome and Compliance Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations) Instruments
Intermediate computer skills
Understanding and familiarity of Avetmiss
Understanding and familiarity of Asquanet
Robust work ethic with attention to detail
Work smarter not harder attitude
Ability to lead a small team
Highly desirable:
Previous experience working alongside or within a similar role
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Familiarity with Axcelerate (Student Management system)
