Joe Cools Air Conditioning is seeking a motivated and reliable1st Year Electrical Apprenticeto join our team.
We specialise in residential and light commercial air conditioning and take pride in guiding apprentices as they develop their skills and build a successful career in the trade.
About the Role
You'll be working alongside experienced electricians and refrigeration mechanics, installing air conditioning systems in existing homes.
If you're expecting mainly switchboard work or wiring new homes, this role will not suit you.
From day one, you'll be mentored and supported in a team environment where we hire for attitude and train for skill.
Most of our work is carried out in existing houses, which means:
Working in roof spaces and tight areas
Running ductwork and installing equipment
Assisting with system installation, wiring and commissioning
Dynamic problem solving on site
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
White Card
Driver's licence and own transport
Reliable and hardworking
Physically fit (roof spaces, lifting,
ladder work)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Honest and responsible
Robust communication
Willing to work overtime when required
Preferred (but not essential):
Completed a pre-apprenticeship
