About the Role
We are currently seeking dynamic and reliable Assistant Chef to join our team at our Murray Bridge facility full time.
The duties and responsibilities of this role are but not limited to:
Planning, preparing and programming menus.
Ensuring catering services are provided in accordance with secure food handling practices and needs and preferences, ensuring to promote individual choice.
Ensuring documentation in regard to catering services are completed in a timely manner, are accurate and are maintained in accordance with accreditation requirements and RSL Care SA's policies and procedures.
Being aware of any areas of risk and reporting them
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum 2 years Chef experience or equivalent.
Ability to build effective and positive relationships with all key stakeholders.




Demonstrated experience with adhering to food safety legislation.
Ability to prioritise workloads, demonstrate flexibility and achieve outcomes within specified timeframes.
Display a compassionate and understanding nature, with a sensitive approach to supporting residents/clients to enact their choices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Continual focus on improvement in all aspects of service delivery.
Ability to be responsive, creative and versatile in meeting the needs and wishes of residents, their families, their representatives and their carers.
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including a Booster shot in last 12 months) and Seasonal Influenza vaccination.
NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain same.
