About the Kitchen Steward Supervisor Opportunity
Joondalup Resort is seeking an experiencedKitchen Steward Supervisorto join the Stewarding team.
This is afull-time position (payment is based onHospitality Award wages).
Responsibilities include:
Ensure kitchens and back of house areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
Care for kitchen and service equipment
Track and minimize breakages, loss of equipment and crockery.
Review, establish and manage kitchen cleaning schedules.
Lead a team of kitchen stewards in various sections of the kitchen.
Manage team rosters.
Position Specifications:




Extensive stewarding experience including experience in a similar hotel workplace
Working Knowledge and leadership of HACCP
Hospitality Hygiene Officer Certificate
Have availability to work a flexible roster including early mornings/ late nights/ weekends and public holidays
Personal qualities:
Strong Organisational and Time Management Skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Meticulous Attention to Detail
Ability to work well under pressure in a rapid-paced workplace
Chemical Handling Knowledge
