SafetyQuip, a leading national supplier of Workplace Safety Products to industry and government, is seeking a likeable and driven individual to join our Future Leaders Program.
This program aims to equip candidates with the necessary skills and practical experience to become an effective future leader within our organisation locally, regionally or interstate.
Successful candidates will have the chance to work closely with key mentors and be exposed to the various processes and departments of our industrial product distribution business.
We supply a broad range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including: safety boots and workwear, respirators, hearing protection, gloves, confined space entry equipment and chemical handling products.
Our client base includes: local and state government departments, power and water utilities, food and beverage processing facilities, manufacturing/engineering organisations and defence industries.
The role will commence initially in our customer service department,
supporting our Clients and Territory Managers by processing telephone, electronic and showroom sales enquiries, and placement of orders.
Successful candidates will have:
A friendly customer service manner and be a natural problem-solver
A desire to lead and be responsible for the outcomes of a team
The ability to engage in intelligent conversation with colleagues and experienced buyers from industrial organisations
The ability to communicate technical information verbally and in a written format
Competent computer skills
High personal standards/goals and an appropriate level of personal grooming
This role is based at our Dry Creek SA order fulfilment centre, where trading hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
