Our large 1,800m2 store is one of the most well-known destinations for fabrics, sewing supplies, and craft materials in South Australia.
We are passionate about providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service, and we are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our friendly and experienced team.
About the Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Sales Assistant to support day-to-day retail operations.
This is a customer-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and has an interest in fabrics, sewing, or crafts.
You will be part of a supportive team, helping customers find the right products while contributing to the smooth running of the store.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver friendly, helpful, and qualified customer service
Assist customers with fabric selection, product advice, and general enquiries
Process sales and support day-to-day retail operations
Receive, unpack, and merchandise stock deliveries
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented store




Work collaboratively within a small team setting
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in retail or customer service
Experience in fabric retail, sewing, or craft environments will be highly regarded
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, helpful, and customer-focused attitude
Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge
Robust reliability and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work across Monday–Saturday (10:00am–5:00pm)
