About The Company
Our client is creating playful and visually engaging game experiences across 2D and VR.
The work spans hidden object scenes, smaller 2D game assets, icons, and charming scrapbook-style art that will sit inside a VR experience.
It is a hands-on creative environment where robust visual storytelling, clean file setup, and practical game-ready art matter just as much as making things look lovely.
The Role - What You'll Do
You will create high-quality 2D artwork across a range of game projects, with a strong focus on Hidden Object Game scenes and clean, readable line art.
You may also support smaller 2D games, create icons, and produce 2D scrapbook-style assets for use in VR.
You will be working in a style that may suit artists with experience or interest in visual approaches similar to Nippets or Find Matt's Cats, with detailed line work, appealing composition, and plenty of character tucked into the scene.
A key part of the role will be setting up artwork files properly for easy export into game scenes.
The team needs someone who can create strong art, but also keep things organised behind the curtain.
What You Bring - Key Skills & Traits




Essential
Robust 2D art skills with a confident line art style
Experience creating artwork for games or interactive projects
Ability to create transparent, detailed, readable hidden object-style scenes
Good understanding of how to set up layered files for easy export and implementation
Comfortable working across scene art, smaller game assets, icons, and supporting 2D assets
Able to work quickly and reliably across a full-time contract schedule
Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback well
Desirable
Previous experience working on Hidden Object Games
Experience creating assets for mobile, casual, or cosy games
Familiarity with art styles similar to Nippets or Find Matt's Cats
Experience preparing assets for Unity or other game engines
Experience creating 2D art for use within VR experiences
Comfortable jumping between detailed scene work and smaller asset tasks
