Executive Officer – West Coast Council
West Coast Council (based in Queenstown) is seeking an Executive Officer to join the Executive Leadership Team and support the General Manager (CEO) and Council in delivering solid governance, legal and council services and high‐quality organisational practice.
Responsibilities
Support the General Manager and Council in delivering solid governance, legal and council services.
Manage the diverse functions of governance, legal and council services within a small council setting.
Provide advice and support to strengthen operational effectiveness and high‐quality organisational practice.
Participate in executive decision‐making as part of the Executive Leadership Team.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in governance, legal or council services.
Commitment to strengthening operational effectiveness.
Advantages
Housing assistance: approx.
$250 per week.
Flexible work: 9‐day fortnight / 19‐day month.
Vehicle: full private use or $15,000 allowance.
Additional 1% superannuation (13% total).
