Phoenix Containers is a proudly WA-owned business specialising in shipping container sales, hire and custom modifications.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a reliable and motivatedDepot Assistantto join our team.
Reporting to theFleet & Depot Services Manager, you'll play an key role in keeping our depot operating safely, efficiently and looking its best.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in doing the job properly.
About the Role
Your day-to-day duties will include (but are not limited to):
Washing and preparing shipping containers
Applying company branding and container stickers
Carrying out minor container repairs and touch-ups
Surveying containers upon de-hire and recording their condition
Receiving incoming stock and delivering materials to the relevant departments
Maintaining general yard cleanliness and organisation
Assisting other departments as required
Working safely and following all company procedures
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude




Enjoys working outdoors in a hands-on workplace
Has positive attention to detail
Can work well independently and as part of a team
Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe workplace
Desirable (but not essential):
Current Forklift Licence
Basic hand and power tool experience
Previous experience in a container depot, warehouse, transport or construction environment
