About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experiencedHydraulic Fitterto join our team on a short-term contract.
This role will involve maintenance, assembly, installation, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assemble, install, and repair hydraulic systems and components
· Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on hydraulic equipment
· Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
· Diagnose system faults and implement effective solutions
· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and procedures
· Conduct testing and commissioning of hydraulic systems
· Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
· Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
· Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent




· Certificate IV in Engineering or related field (preferred/required)
· Proven experience working as a Hydraulic Fitter
· Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
· Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Good communication skills
Desirable Skills:
· Experience in marine, industrial, or heavy equipment settings
· High-risk work licenses (if applicable)
· Solid problem-solving ability
Contract Details:
· Hourly Rate: $60 per hour
· Immediate start preferred
