A unique chance is available in Remote Coastal Far North Queensland for a reliable and motivated qualified who takes pride in presenting guest accommodation to an exceptional standard.
With a very small team, this is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident managing housekeeping duties independently while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the property.
Commencement:Early September
Commitment:Six-month commitment preferred
Pay & Benefits (Level 2 HIGA Award)
$* per hour – Monday to Friday
$* per hour – Saturday
$* per hour – Sunday
Self-contained accommodation available for $100 per week
Accommodation is located approximately 5 minutes' walk from the venue
Your ResponsibilitiesService rooms to a consistently high standard
Make beds, clean bathrooms, strip rooms, empty bins, vacuum and mop floors
Clean windows and ensure all guest areas are spotless
Complete laundry duties including washing, folding and ironing
Clean and maintain all common areas
Assist with cleaning and maintaining the swimming pool and surrounding areas
Provide assistance in other departments when required
Perform additional duties as directed
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous housekeeping or accommodation cleaning experience
Outstanding attention to detail and pride in your work
The ability to work efficiently and independently
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding work-related references
A willingness to commit to the full contract period
