Heidelberg Materials Australia (formerly Hanson) have prospects to join our team as a Casual Quarry Operator at Glasshouse Mountains in the Sunshine Coast region.
This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager, and we are seeking applicants who have a passion for safety and value a strong work ethic.
This is casual leading to full time for the right candidate.
Financials
You will be rewarded with a competitive and attractive hourly rate $ - $ per hour (pending experience), plus 25% casual loading.Covered under the Metro Quarrying EBA - overtime rates apply.
About The Role
Operating Mobile Equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders, and Excavators.Operating the crushing and screening plantGeneral fixed plant maintenance and inspectionsDuring busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where neededCommitment to Zero Harm and Safety LeadershipAdhere to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures.
Background And Experience Required
Quarry/Mining experience.Experience operating a Front-End Loader,



Dump Truck and/or Excavator.Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised.Qualified work ethic with a "can do" attitude example.
