About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will:Provide Survey Support to the project.Assist the Technical Services Department to meet operational needs.Conduct daily volume calculations.Complete in office RPAS drone surveys/scans/photos/incident reporting.Create 3D models of mining sites using design software and digital imaging.Chart surface areas using GPS/ Drones/ Total Stations.
To be successful you will have:




Tertiary qualifications in surveying or equivalentOpen cut mining and/or civil construction experience preferred but not necessary.RPAS up to 25kgs.Solid Technical and Analytical skillsStrong organisational, communication and planning skills.Demonstrated positive safety leadership skills and safety behaviour.Experience using survey software including Maptek Vulcan, Point Studio, Deswik or similar preferredCurrent drivers licence.
This position requires the preferred candidate to undertake a QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment, a Pre-Employment Medical, and successfully complete Standard 11 training.
