We specialise in prefabricating reinforcement cages for piling, diaphragm walls, precast elements, bridges, structures, and other complex construction applications where accuracy, quality, and delivery certainty are critical.
Due to continued project demand, an chance has become available for a Quality Engineer to join our team on a temporary 2-month contract basis.
For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to transition into a full time position, subject to performance and the business securing additional project work.
What are we looking for:
We are looking for a practical and detail-focused Quality Engineer who enjoys being close to the work, not just behind a desk.
This role will be based in our reinforcement prefabrication factory and will involve checking cages during and after fabrication, reviewing drawings, managing quality records, coordinating with client quality teams,



and working with production teams to resolve issues before cages are released for delivery.
What do you bring:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance within construction, reinforcement, precast, fabrication, or structural steel.
Ability to read IFC drawings, shop drawings, bar schedules, and project specifications.
Good understanding of reinforcement placement, dimensions, bar quantities, tolerances, welding requirements, couplers, cast-ins, and lifting points.
Experience with ITPs, MDRs, inspection checklists, NCRs / NCARs, quality registers, and document control.
Strong attention to detail, practical problem-solving skills, and confidence working with production teams and client representatives.
Valuable computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and quality tracking systems.
