We're looking for a capable and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join the team at Mia Mia House in the Desert, Newman.
If you take pride in your cooking, run a clean and organised kitchen, and enjoy leading from the front, this is an prospect to step into a rewarding role in a unique Pilbara location.
About the Role
As Senior Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in delivering consistent, high-quality service.
You'll play a key role in maintaining standards, leading the team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
Please keep in mind this role is for experienced and skilled candidates.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in à la carte service
Solid focus on cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example
Confident running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Experience managing and motivating staff
Robust communication skills and a team-focused mindset
Ability to deliver excellent customer-focused outcomes




Passion for mentoring apprentices and junior team members
Experience & Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
2 years' experience in a Sous Chef role
Experience managing kitchen staff
Full working rights in Australia (preferred)
Willingness and ability to relocate to Newman, WA

Salary starting from $90,000 per year
