At our site we plan to offer a bike program where students restore donated bicycles to be donated to families in need or sold on to ensure sustainability of the program.
The young people in our program will be limited to no more than 5 at a time.
All young people involved live with a disability and/or trauma and are selected for this program to help build personal and social confidence, life skills, team work and communication skills.
Preferred times will be Thursday or Friday morning (8:45am), or 11am Wednesday.
Applicants will require all working with children checks before commencement.
Each program runs for a maximum of 1.5 hours per week.
We have a staff member present at all times who assumes the duty of care and responsibility, the mentor's role is to provide the knowledge and a positive role model.
