Job Overview
We are searching for a highly motivated, senior baker to join our team on a full time basis.
Baking shifts for each week commence early Monday morning and finish in the early hours of Friday morning.
We are looking for someone who has knowledge & experience baking pies, bread and sweets.
Responsibilities and duties:
Mix, prepare, shape and bake dough and/or pastry
Operate mixers, scales, pastry roller, fryer, stove, oven and other high risk equipment in a safe manner
Decorate, bake and present sweets
Ordering of produce and raw materials to maintain stock levels
Unpack, sort, refill and organise stock when delivered
Maintain a clean working environment at all times
Oversee,



direct and assist apprentices to develop skills/techniques
Plan and prioritise baking schedule to ensure product is cooked and cooled on time to be packed and transported
Maintain consistency in quality of product
Adhere to food handling and food safety standards / policies
Comply with OH&S; regulations
Skills and requirements:
Qualification in baking (Trade certificate III or equivalent)
Have prior baking experience of 5+ years
Must be able to work full-time
Must have working rights in Australia
Have a positive and respectful attitude
Be able to work well in a team setting
Solid communication skills
An eye for detail and consistency
Organised and able to plan ahead

This position comes with a rental property -a 3 bedroom unfurnished house is available for relocating applicant.
Successful applicant will only have to pay for utilities.
