About Parks & Recreation
The Parks & Recreation Team are thesecret behind the Toowoomba Region’s beautiful parks and gardens. With over 7000 hectares of public gardens, bushland park,sports and recreation facilities and other open space and anextensive urban forest, the Toowoomba region is well known for itsliveability and green infrastructure.
The Parks and Recreation Services Branch is responsible for planning, developing andmaintaining our beautiful green infrastructure, some of which isheritage listed, and keeping up with the strong growth across theregion. The team is a diverse mix of approximately 200 peopleworking as labourers, gardeners, arborists, horticulturalists,plant operators, rangers, cleaners, project managers, landscapearchitects, administrators, regulators and their managers andleaders.
Aboutthe position
As the Supervisor - Horticulture,you will be responsible for assisting the Coordinator in themanagement and delivery of horticultural services within the Parksnetwork in terms of desired standards of service and bestpractice.
You will work under limitedsupervision.
