WorkPac is currently seeking a Tree Maintenance Officer for our client based in Drouin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a background in arboriculture, tree maintenance or vegetation management to join a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the safety, health and appearance of the region's trees and public open spaces.
What You Will Be Doing
Perform tree maintenance including pruning, trimming and removal works
Inspect trees and identify hazards, defects and maintenance requirements
Operate chainsaws, pole saws, chippers and other arboriculture equipment
Assist with tree planting and establishment programs
Respond to storm damage and emergency tree maintenance when required
Maintain parks, streetscapes and public reserves to a high standard
Complete general labouring duties associated with tree maintenance
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safe work practices




What Will You Need?
Previous experience in arboriculture, tree maintenance, vegetation management or a similar role
Experience operating chainsaws, chippers, pole saws and other arboriculture equipment
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
White Card
Certificate III in Arboriculture (desirable)
Chainsaw and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) tickets (desirable)
Robust understanding of safe tree work practices
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
