A lovely family of four in South Fremantle is seeking an enthusiastic housekeeper who will be expected to do cleaning, and occasional childcare for the families little one/s.
This role will suit someone who is organised with excellent communication skills and who is willing to work as a member of the family.
You will need to be friendly, kind, and courteous.
Likewise, you will enjoy a relaxed and positive atmosphere in our home.
Police Clearance Required.
Portuguese and/or German Language Skills are an advantage.
Parking Available.
Days and Hours are as follows:
Working 10am to 4pm – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (additional/different hours may be discussed with individual candidates).
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Daily Duties
· Clean and tidy all common areas (living rooms, kitchen, dining areas, hallways)
· Load/unload dishwasher; hand‐wash items as needed
· Clean kitchen surfaces, stovetop, and sink after use
· Take out rubbish and recycling
· General tidying and organising of household items
Weekly Duties
· Vacuum and mop all floors
· Clean bathrooms: wipe surfaces, clean toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors
· Dust all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and skirting boards
· Change bed linen and towels
· Laundry: wash, dry,



fold/iron and put away clothing and linens
· Clean kitchen appliances (microwave, oven exterior, fridge shelves)
· Clean glass doors, mirrors, and reachable windows
· Water indoor plants (if applicable)
Monthly / Periodic Duties
· Deep clean kitchen appliances (oven interior, fridge, freezer)
· Deep clean bathrooms (tiles, grout, glass, drains)
· Wash windows (interior; exterior if safely accessible)
· Clean curtains, blinds, or upholstery as required
· Organise cupboards, pantry, linen closets
· Spot‐clean walls, doors, light switches, and handles
· Report maintenance issues or damage to homeowner
Additional Responsibilities
· Manage household cleaning supplies and inform homeowner when restocking is needed
· Handle household items with care and respect
· Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience in private housekeeping or similar role
Solid attention to detail and time management
Knowledge of cleaning products and protected cleaning practices
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Trustworthy, punctual, and respectful of privacy
References preferred
